1. The Incredible Journey of Alexander von Humboldt
"One sees the water disappear into the air... next to the Fall a rocky wall rises up that is very much mentioned because it seems to have actually been carved vertically by the hands of an artist". A. von Humboldt.
The German explorer Alexander von Humboldt was also at the Tequendama Falls. Therefore, this exhibition, created by Andrea Wulf in association with the artist Lillian Melcher, brings von Humboldt's expedition to South America to life with extracts from his diaries, atlas and publications. The exhibition arrived to the Tequendama House Museum in 2019 as part of the 250th anniversary of the explorer's birth, with the support of the German Embassy in Colombia.

4. Reminiscence Room
This space is a tribute to the house when it was a train station with a hotel service. The customs of Bogota's society stand out when visiting this iconic place.
Its provisioning has been done little by little, rescuing elements typical of the time. For this, we have received the special support of the Fashion Design Faculty of the Área Andina Foundation. |
